This idea for a Boat Club on Castle Rock Lake began in the summer of 2018.  As a family of four, we enjoy the boating experience but were concerned about the responsibilities of owning a boat: boat payments for 10-15 years, choosing just one boat, buying a lift/pier/slip and trailer, a vehicle to tow the boat, as well as boat maintenance and winter storage.  

Our family would often rent boats.  Many times it was difficult to find boats available and sometimes the boats were not in the best condition.  Some boats simply didn't have the power to pull the kids on a tube.  And, if we found a boat that was fairly new and with enough horsepower to get us across Castle Rock Lake, and allowed tubing/skiing, it cost over $600 for one day. 

And so the plan for Captains' Club was born! 

As Castle Rock Lake's Premier and Exclusive Boat Membership Club, we intend to provide Members the ability to have the highest quality boating experience without dealing with any of the unpleasant work and extensive and sometimes unexpected costs of owning a boat.
